  1. This workout was disgusting.

    WOD:

    Two rounds, of each couplet, for time of:

    75 SDHPs (35# kb)
    20 Handstand Push-ups (plank)

    20 Thrusters (55#)
    20 L-Pull-ups (kipping pullups, two small bands)

    T = 32:31

    I chickened out on the pullups, I grabbed another band before I started because I felt like I might never get through the rest of the workout if I didn’t…but in hindsight I definitely could have done them with either just one band or none..

    And my thrusters were easier on the second round. Can’t quite figure that one out…

    Extremely hard WOD. Just glad I finished it as Rx’d

    I think I could have done more weight on the thrusters..and it’s probably time to get off the bands for my pullups. It was a tough WOD for sure.

    36:52 – Almost Rx, my thrusters were #5 under but close enough! That was a hard one to do at 6am, good job early birds!

    I truly can’t decide what I hated most…the 150 SDHP, the 40 thrusters, or 40 pull ups. I usually don’t mind thrusters, but my legs are still screaming from the Hopper.

    This was definitely a “chipper” WOD for me. Congrats to anyone doing this one as RX’d.

    Starting to get used to thrusters, maybe even starting to like them. 🙂 It’s nice having a bit of a longer workout so enjoyed this one.

    20 L-Pull-ups (red band 1st round, green band 2nd round)

    T = 34:47
    This was a crazy workout, probably one of the hardest WOD I did up to now. I’m having a hard time using the thrust from my hips – I’m pulling up on the bar instead. I had no energy- I had to use bands on the pullups 🙁 Thanks Pat for the pointers and encouragement and thanks to Eric N for the push at the end.
    Good job on this WOD everyone! Impressive times and strength by all!

      I wish I could have done the 5:30 but it was full. I was’nt supposed to train today but when I saw the workout I switched my days but the only availability was the 6:30 class. It was still fun with that crew nontheless except for the numbness I got at the end Kinda freaked me out…Time for some massage therapy or Phisio… 🙂

    I was really looking forward to this all day. The thrusters were tough as usual but I find finishing a long WOD like this really satisfying. Nice work everyone! Be proud of yourself for taking on the Twins!

    1. Nice work fighting taking Twins Rx’d Jeff and all strict HSPUs to boot. I ended up having to switch to kipping part way through the first set.

    Tough workout, but not as bad as I thought it would be; although as Kevin said…”Try it with 115 lbs”. Puts it in perspective. Great job everyone, nice having lots of new faces at the 6:30 class 🙂

    This workout was insane! By far the hardest workout I’ve ever done…

    Everything went well up until the pull-ups when I got the most freaky numbness in my hands and forearms and face. Had to stop when I was done the second set of pull-ups and do the situps afterwards. Coach was nice enough to add the time it took to do the 40 situps. Thanks Kevin 🙂

  26. Wow!! It has been great reading everyone’s results today! I so wanted to do this work-out but both my shoulders are quite sore so I decided to listen to my body for once and take a break!!! When I checked to see today’s WOD this morning I actually think that my shoulders ached!!!! lol!!

    Kudos to everyone on your awesome efforts today!!
