September 2 workout

Remember, tonight we’re meeting at 7pm.

“Moncton Hold’em”.

  • Hearts = Burpees
  • Diamonds = Situps
  • Clubs = Pullups
  • Spades = Squats
  • Jokers = Sprint around the field

Start by drawing the top card and do that many reps of the suit. Example, if you draw the 9 of Hearts, you’re doing 9 burpees. Face cards are all worth 10! The goal is to get through the whole deck as fast as you can.

    85 Burpees
    85 Situps
    85 Pullups
    85 Squats
    400m sprint

    I am right?

    I just watched New Kids On the Block on The View, and I can’t stop smiling… and singing “Step by step. Oooh baby. Gonna get to you girl.”

    Shameless, I know 🙂 But man, I loved those boys back in the day.

  3. Regrettably I have to work this evening, enjoy the WOD!!! I ran the Nike Human Race, 10KM on Sunday, my longest distance of the year by far, 5KM split was 31 min, a PB for this year, the 10KM was 66mins, thanks to CF, starting to see improvements!! I will have to etch out a WOD this evening later on; and see you on Thursday!

  4. Alright! That was a fun WOD…. it was really fun to turn 2 club face cards right after the other or the 2 poker card 2 cards apart. :S

    i did box jumps instead of pull ups – gotta really start working the legs for elgin 80!!!

    my jokers were only i think 4 cards apart – then ALL the burpees came!
