    DNF – got 3 rounds in then had to skip some reps to keep back loose.
    No pain…muscle spasms

    Worked on precision jump progressions. Worked up to floor > small platform > floor. Bruised my butt wiping out. Good times!

    I used 165#(70%) and didn’t really keep track of my time. I would guess I averaged 1:20-1:30. I didn’t realize I was supposed to go as fast as possible….next time I’ll do rx and push…

  5. I hate to post my results on this one.. But for the sake of keeping records for next time:
    70% of my 1RM for HPC is somewhere around 100 or 105.. so I put 95# on the bar. That lasted two rounds.
    Dropped to 85#. That lasted for five rounds.
    Dropped to 75# for the last two rounds.

    Shane recently helped me discover that it’s not always my cardio that’s holding me back but rather endurance/high reps with weight. That was evident in today’s wod, it was a struggle from the get-go not to quit.

    That was though both physically and mentally. Just need to not think about how much work or rounds are left… just shut it off, do the work and repeat.

    Completed all rounds except for round 9. Just hit a wall and needed more rest. Will go a little lighter next time or suck it up and do all rounds.

    2 rounds at 85# then dropped weight to 75#.
    I didn’t keep track of my times. Somewhere around 1:30 to 1:45 per round for most. Maybe closer to 1:55 in rounds 9 & 10

    I echo Amanda’s comment about tapping out of this one part way through….after 2 rounds I was suffering & thought there is no way I can finish 10 rounds of this. Then dropped weight for the 3rd round and it helped….but only a little bit. At end of round 5 when Shane yelled “1/2 way done”, I know he meant it to be encouraging…..IT WAS NOT! All I could think at that point was how to do 5 more rounds of this. At the end of the day….I didn’t die and go a great work out in. Good times!

    1. Yup we certainly felt the same way during this one! Glad I’m not alone, I was embarrassed at how badly the wod beat me up!

    10 Lateral Down up over bar – stepped over
    5 Hang Power Cleans

    First half was getting roughly 1:30 rest, last 4 rounds getting around 1 minutes rest. Challenging workout tonight, thanks Cara!

  14. Notes to self…
    Started with 65# at Kevin’s direction. This lasted 2 or 3 rounds? I think… Maybe longer… My brain and body tapped out pretty early on this.

    Dropped weight to 55# at some point.
    Last 3 (?) rounds, stepped over the bar instead of jumps.
    Didn’t keep track of time to complete a round, but they were almost all over 1:30. 1 round was definitely over 2 minutes. Slow AF.
