note to self – a 17km time trial with headwind is EXTRA hard after 8 rounds + 7 reps of 125# ‘death by back squats’ yesterday. that 43 reps at 5# over body weight!!

  6. -CW x 3

  10. My result from last night:

    Strength:
    Deadlifts: 5×95 5×125 5×135

    WOD:
Toned down to 75# by the boss (glad he did)
Made it to 14 front squats + 9 on the 15th minute

I was the first one out, but my legs are extremely numb this morning so I must’ve done something right 🙂

  11. Hey everyone. Thank you from both myself and Amy.
It was great to get in and get it on.
We appreciated the openess from everyone.

First time I’ve had access to rings, let alone muscle up attempts. Got a few in.

Did a round of the warm up. Did some shoulder presses.
Worked on technique (much needed) I think I went for 115lb for a few then dropped down to 95lbs.

    Then Death by F Squat.
First time, and wow. Tapped out after 16. Will do better next time.
Amy on the other hand, all I can say is machine.
We were both pumped to be there and she showed it.
    19+

All I can say is that we both appreciated the atmosphere, and the peeps.
Thanks for everything and i suspect we’ll be back for more.
I think we killed Kevins hopes for getting home early by chatting his ear off after session.
    Thanks again for everything.

Should have done a short version…sorry about that.

  12. It’s always a pleasure to have fellow CrossFitters come by the gym. You both did some pretty amazing stuff at the gym last night, so you should be proud.

    Come by anytime!
