    Not happy with the wod. Missed a couple power snatches and it put me behind.

    I woke up with a really bad wheel… I’ve wrapped my knee but limping quite a bit. I need to cancel todays 4:15 class. I will be in to pick up my journal after school.

    I am happy that I did not cancel this work-out when I looked on line this morning before going. It was a great opportunity to work on my #1 goat which of course are OHS!

  7. “Rack Jerk” – 1RM
    First time trying this. I know I can lift more next time.

    WOD (modified for shoulder):
    AMRAP 6 min with 135#…
    1 Deadlift
    1 Power Clean
    1 Front Squat

    19 Rounds

    tried several weights….45# – 15-20-25-30-35-40

    AMRAP 6min 135#…used 40#…that was a single rep PR in Jan!
    1 Deadlift
    1 Power Clean
    1 Front Squat

    32 Rounds

    More weight next time
    and 10 burpees……

    Liked the WOD, what can I say…I love snatches!!! Thanks Marc and Kevin for the encouragement. Also got three handstand pushups with the 25 lb plate 🙂

    goal practice: HSPUs [email protected] yellow and green band, then moved on to lowering to plates.. got 2 consecutive to a 45# plate, failed at the 25# plate 3 times

    snatch balance 50-55-60-65-70-75-80

    WOD with 70#
    10 rounds + 1SGDL + 1 PS (failed on last OHS and just could not get it back overhead)

  12. Workout done on October 28 from home

    Warm up times 2 plus mobility

    WOD AMRAP in 6 minutes of
    Snatch grip deadlift
    Power snatch

    Total of 18 rounds

    Used 55 pounds because of my limited OHS, but I’m happy with results and hope this means I may be able to bring my weight up on my favorite exercise, the OHS lol 🙂
