    Liked this Wod considering I don’t like wallballs and box jumps.. Lol. Finally got a rhythm on the wall balls after about 60 frustrating ones! Du’s went better than I thought they would. Run was tough I was so sweaty I could barely hang on the plate. I barely slept last night so when I saw the Wod I thought if I could get under 30 mins I would be happy and 25 would be great. So needless to say I am very happy with this.

    Oh and I finishes the Pullups at just over 4.30 mins.

    1. Thanks everyone I really appreciate all the positive comments. I have really been trying to push myself lately, get out of my comfort zone. We are fortunate to be able to do this day in day out and I think of that every time I start getting lazy!!

      1. Still super happy with the time. Actually a 2 min PR. Did 31:11 last time and 29:09 today. Plus scaled to rx.

Lieutenant Andrew Richard Nuttall, 30, from the 1st Battalion Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry (1 PPCLI), based in Edmonton, Alberta, serving as a member of the 1 PPCLI Battle Group was killed by an improvised explosive device that detonated during a joint foot patrol near the village of Nakhonay in Panjwaii District, about 25 km southwest of Kandahar City on December 23, 2009. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Ethel Jane Nuttall. (Andy was also a friend and coach at CrossFit Vancouver before joining the military.)

    I spent most of my time with the wall balls… Lots of no reps, then 1 @ a time with jumping squat to get above that 10 foot line

    I enjoy ( in a sadistical way) these epic wods… Also was thinking during the wod that I am lucky to be alive and able to just complete it…

    Really wish I could kip HSPU. Disc injury in neck is holding me back. Boo 🙁
    DL’s were my favourite part. Would have loved more of those 🙂
    Pull-ups were gross (and I ripped!).
    Wall balls were in sets of 10.
    Double unders mostly sets of 20.
    400m run with plate was more of a run-shuffle-waddle-shuffle.

  13. Ok so I witnessed some pretty impressive effort, heart and dedication this morning, which is what these workout are all about. From Shane going ballz to the wall throughout, to jack not shying away from du even if his shin were sore. Josh completing the wod when coming to the gym thinking he’d just get through the 40 min. Amanda tore her shin apart and continued through, amber finished her run even if time was up, Nat completed her wall ballz even if there were down to being broken into singles, Wendy D did ring rows despite her wonky shoulder, Shane s and kimmy powered through the du. I could sit here and name everyone of you who went through “Nutts” this morning since everyone went above and beyond their comfort zone and really embraced what these hero wods are all about. I could not be prouder of all CFM athletes today and cannot wait to read all about the rest of the days classes! Also I want to give a particular shout out to Gracy and Rhys who cheered from the sidelines, not to mention played swap the sippy cup and pacifier!

    A little off my PR. Doubles and wall balls were off today. Had a side stitch that wouldn’t buzz off.
    HSPU – UB
    DL – UB
    BJ – stepped down most
    Pullups – 5×10 (6-7 butterfly each set)
    WB – highest set was 15. Mostly 10’s
    DU – GRRRR! 15-25 for most sets
    Run – Walked for 50m

    PR: 4:35 Super super stoked! First time doing this WOD RX and I got a PR to boot. The wall balls were more difficult for me than they should have been; could not get a rhythm.

  23. Coached the 3 evening classes tonight. It was “Nutts” to say the least…. lol! A huge thanks to everyone who helped me during and after each class moving equipment, stripping bars and putting the gym back together at the end of the night. Your help certainly did not go unnoticed and it is was much appreciated!!!!

    Awesome work tonight by everyone. I was proud of each and everyone one of you. I could feel the sense of accomplishment you all felt once you hobbled into the gym carrying your 25/45 lb plate!!! Job well done!

  24. WOD: Nutts!

    Time: 32:37 I’m SO happy. 2 years ago I did this with 5 out of 7 of the movements scaled (today I only had to scale the Deadlifts) and my time was 43:28. My progress has been sketchy lately so this was a good mental boost. 🙂

    All movements were rx except for Deadlifts, they were way under my 70%, I did them at 135# as my lower back muscles are extremely sore today and I didn’t want to risk injury. The 135# felt light and I wished I could have done them rx but I’m proud of myself for being smart about it because sometimes our egos are a bigger contender than the wod. lol

    Corinna, great job on the classes tonight, (and Marie-Noelle this morning) this was a tough day for coaching!

    Marie-Noelle I can’t thank you enough for running with me at the end. You are SO awesome. 😀
