    Seriously, it was time for a good wake up call. My goal was to get to 100 and I *just* squeaked in.
    HIGHLIGHT: I beat my “unbroken DUs” PR by 2…putting me at EIGHT!

    Big congrats to Natacha for nailing over 140 burpees!

    I CANNOT BELIEVE I WRECKED ANOTHER SKIPPING ROPE and right in the middle of the best DU wod I’ve ever had!!! However – 131 was my total for 10 mins in Sept and I remember that I was thrilled then so I’ll take my 140 rep PR and try not to think about those lost minutes πŸ™

    I don’t know about others but I am soooo on an off with DU’s. One day I actually threw my rope down in frustration and today I was knocking off 10-14 in a row consistently…well until the last 3 mins or so and then my extreme need to improve my cardio kicked in.
    Maybe I should just practice more…. πŸ™‚

    Skipped the fifth set at 155#. I prefer to snatch the weight from the floor and felt some tightness in my shoulder. I think for this particular exercise I will back up one more step and re build it a little slower. This was my first time doing OHS since April

    A little disappointed with this as I set a goal of 250, but, I broke my rope during the first couple of minutes and had to get used to my back up rope. Could not string them together until around the 7 minute mark when I fixed my hand position.

    1. Great work on those OHS Sheldon! You did well on the DUs too, in spite of your equipment failure. You might want to check the surveillance video leading up to the WOD. Someone (cough…Jeff S) may have tampered with it…LOL

    skipped strength and worked on my pull up kipping.. Thanks very much Amanda Lora and Corinna for all the tips about kipping. i’ll get it soon.
    WOD was super frustrating. MY pr in a row a month ago was 20. and i couldn’t get anymore than 4 in a row tonight. but i eventually got 104. then practiced the walking handstand. got a few “steps?” … good job everyone. and great job Lance for basically showing everyone that you really are a ninja. Your a crossfit tank my friend.

    1. Try not to let the double unders frustrate/discourage you too much. Some days the “rhythm” just isn’t clicking. You’ll get them again πŸ™‚ Keep practicing.

    Skipped strength to practice Handstand Walking. Far from mastered, but made some big improvements. High five to me

    434. Not a PR. My rope broke in the first minute. Spent the next minute finding another good size rope, that ended up being too long. Switched again while Amanda was fixing my rope. In the middle of that chaotic frustration I ended with a decent score, but I’m pretty confident I can get about 600.

    Post WOD: More handstand walking practice with the gang. Lots of fun!!
