  1. Strength: Cleans
5x 65-70-75-85-95 – Still struggling with my form as the weight gets heavier.

    WOD: AMRAP in 10 mins
    Double Unders

    = 275
Really discouraged this morning…I knew I could do a lot more than last time (273) but my body wouldn’t do it, still sick.

  2. Push press (x3)

    51 burpees (50 done in 2:03 – crappy!!!)

    WOD: AMRAP 10min double unders

    Total: 375

Great workout – really enjoyed this – this score I can def improve upon – shoelace kept coming untied and I couldn’t string together more than 10 DUs until about the halfway point – still lots of fun and can’t wait to try again! 🙂

Happy birthday Heather!! Birthday burpees were a nice surprise and with yesterday’s workout that much more enjoyable!!! 😉 Peace out playas!

    1. You are soooo welcome my friend, and almost forgiven for the shock on your face at the excessive number!! (Really people, the alternative to getting old is being dead!) 🙂

      1. Happy Birthday Heather. Only Johnny would find birthday burpees to be a “nice surprise” and “enjoyable”.

    1. Ya, instead of a strength, the class did balance work. One of the stations was jumping on a trampoline and landing on one foot.

  3. Wu x2
    Cleans x10
    70 85 100×5 (wrist started to hurt)

    WOD – 500 DUs

PR from 320 in Oct. Had a goal in my head for 500 and reached it at 9:59. Happy with that 🙂

    1. Wow…. fresh off vacation for the newly weds, and you both achieved great PR’s. Married life must agree with you.

  4. Mr. & Mrs. Wood – Sounds like all bread, cheese, and chocolates didn’t slow you two down any! 😉 Nice work!

  5. WU X 2 + toes-thru-rings
    Push jerk 1″s

    AMRAP 10 mins
Double Unders! 131 (not including the 50+ that wrapped themselves around my feet)

    Birthday thought (I’m 51, I get to ruminate…)

Remember the last time you did a term paper and had to add the bibliography? My students hate it but I tell them the bibliography needs to include everthing that influenced, challenged, informed, changed you or got quoted. You guys are my personal bibliography. Can’t express how big a deal that is to me. So Happpy Birthday to you too!

    1. Heather, what a nice sentiment…. 🙂
I hope you are having a wonderful birthday. I agree with Gabrielle! 50??? You definitely don’t look it….and you put many 30 year olds to shame with what you’ve accomplished at CFM this year 🙂

    2. I loved your analogy Heather. Happy Birthday! You look great. The fifties are simply the new thirties. I told your nephew Jack this week that you have the nicest biceps at the gym! Keep up the great work!

  6. Welcome back Joanna and Kevin

Good practice, lately able to string 3-4 after bit of trying, but more practice necessary.

And now I have quite a few major whiplash marks on my right buttcheek… ouch!

  10. Happy Birthday Gerry!

Did a 4.8 km run with my Cross Country Team after school

    Wu x 2

Same score as last time; however, I am seeing some improvement. I’m actually able to get a double now and keep skipping — big achievement for me 🙂

Great job everyone tonight and happy birthday Heather and Gerry!

  12. Mobility

    WU x2

    Strength – Front Squats x 3
75-85-95-105-115-125 (115 felt so good, decided to go an extra 10#, got a little greedy)

    WOD: AMRAP in 10 min
    Double under
    Total = 75

  13. Did my work out in St.John’s Newfoundland today: Run / Walk up Signal Hill then hike all the way around to the harbour at sunset enjoying the georgeous view of the ocean on one side and the harbour on the other side. Then run / walk back up Signal Hill again to get the car my co-worker had left up there. Total: about 2 hours and a lot of fun! Pretty heavy on the calves though. Gonna feel that in the morning!

  14. WU x 2 plus 59 B-day Burpees for Gerry! Happy B-day to Heather also!

    AMRAP 10 mins of DU’S

    total 147

I’m happy with that, did 42 in October last year, so PR of 105 reps! 🙂

  15. Happy Birthday Gerry. I’ve been waiting all day to say that because I didn’t want to ruin the surprise for anyone! It would almost be worth it for us to go to the same class next year. Write it on your calendars eveyone!
