    I have to cancel my 415 today – I am a single mom this week and won’t be able to make it. I am mowing the lawn tonight though, that’s gotta be good for something!I’ll do some squats every few feet or something šŸ™‚ Hopefully I will see you tomorrow night!!!!

  6. and regarding yesterdays post.

    I train crossfit because I love the cooperation. Being in a gym where people aren’t afraid to ask you for help and vise versa helps the whole gym move forward. I love it when someone asks me how to do something, I love helping everyone the best I can. Seeing people succeed makes my day especially if I helped them. Crossfit is one of the best places to do this.

    I train crossfit to be reliable, to be the best I can be. Striving to be a SAR tech I never want to meet a situation where I meet a challenge I cannot tackle, I don’t want to let others down, because thats the difference between life or death.

    clean practice – did not do the exercise with weights because of my shoulder – worked on rolling left shoulder on Olympic bar instead to increase circulation – thanks for the tip Kevin šŸ™‚

    Heather, you impressed me to no end tonight šŸ™‚ Your attitude and determination to push through the pain (and gagging!) was top notch. I’m totally blown away by what you did! And, like you said, you did something many would never even consider doing – GOOD ON YOU GIRL!!!

    I wasn’t prepared well for today’s WOD. For the last four days I’ve been packing and moving into my new house. During that time of course I didn’t eat or sleep well and I really felt it during the WOD. During round 2 and 3 I was out of breath so bad I had to take walking breaks during the runs. I’ll do better when Curtis and I meet again!

    Got a PR on DUs though tonight. 45 in a row in round 2! šŸ˜›

  15. WOW! That was quite the WOD. I can now say that blood, sweat & tears have been a a part of my CrossFit time. “Curtis P” was challenging to say the least but I did it and didn’t have to sign the wall…..it came close.

    This was the first time I’ve ever done a WOD with a rip on my hand. I told Kevin I was going to do it RX’d…. until I threw up that first Curtis P. Shifting grips from the deadlift, to the clean, to the push press…. ummm… pain much! So, I did the scaled version. Curtis P and I will meet again when I am healed. Great GREAT work everyone who stepped up to this one! Hats off to those of you who RX’ed it!
