  1. hey guys, anyone interested in a movie tonight it’s called ‘Growing Op’ – it was shot in moncton a few years ago and has been getting great reviews at the atlantic film fest and others across canada. i used to work with the director/writer/co-producer (mike melski) at street cents years ago and he’s a super talented guy and he’ll be at the screening for a Q&A too.

    there’s a 430 and a 10 show, i’m gonna hit up the 10pm.

    here’s more info:

  2. I didn’t make it to CF Total. I’m exhausted, especially after the w/o this morning, plus my right arm is bothering me again. I need a couple of rest days and a massage.

I saw this w/o on CFBC. I thought it would be a good one. You work with a partner; one person working at a time.

  7. Today was lots of fun! I had no clue what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised 🙂

My back squats were the hardest part of the whole thing… I need to work on strenghtening my back and my hip flexors as well as increasing the flexibility of my hamstrings… I don’t remember what my last lift was (see booklet) for this exercise. My best press was 60 lbs and my best deadlift was 115lbs.

Today I’m off for a trek in the woods with Copin 🙂

The weather is warming up and soon it will be spring – Woohoooooo! Would anyone be interested in doing a post workout brunch on Saturdays (either tailgate style or at Centennial Park)? It would be a fun way to replenish our energy reserves and enjoy the sunshine… Anyway, let me know! ([email protected] – I posted it a while back but I’m not sure if you got it Jeannette)

    Have a good one! 🙂

  8. me too me too – i love food! especially after WODs!

in fact i think that’s usually all that jeanette and i talk about 🙂 and if it’s not direct about food, it’s somehow related to how food has helped us, weakened us, juicied us etc

and i’m discovering more and more that MC is really into food too! she’s got some great recipe ideas!

MC – you’ll break 400 for sure next time, no sweat

  10. Perfect! I love to cook so it’s great to know others share my passion for the good stuff 🙂 I’m reading The Zone right now, trying to figure it all out for me – the only way it’ll work for me is if I can still cook and enjoy my nourishment so I bought The Zone cookbook too 🙂

Woohoooo! Let’s talk about planning one of those brunches next time we get together 🙂

Oh and have fun at the movies tonight Krista – I wish I couldn’t have joined you it would have been right up my alley. Keep me posted if anything like that comes up again.
