Lumberjack 20 Memorial Workout

On Nov. 5 at 1:34 p.m., a terrorist named Major Nidal Hasan attacked fellow soldiers and civilians at Fort Hood, Texas. When the shooting ended, he had killed 12 soldiers and one civilian and wounded 43 others.

Spc. Frederick Greene, 29, of Mountain City, Tennessee, Pfc. Aaron Thomas Nemelka, 19, of West Jordan, Utah, Pfc. Michael Pearson, 22, of Bolingbrook, Illinois, and Spc. Kham Xiong, 23, of St. Paul, Minnesota, along with eleven of the wounded were active CrossFitters in the 20th Engineer Battalion, home toLumberjack CrossFit.

This workout is in honor these soldiers, one month after the murderous rampage.

    It’s also going to be a tough one, so please show up on time and be ready. It will be a staggered start like last weekend.

    Looks like a great one, but I have to listen to my body. I am pretty tired and feeling not up to par. Sorry I am missing this one. It looks super intense and fun. Good Luck everyone. Could I try this one on Jan. 5th?

        the afternoon workout got me another proud PR – a 3×100# bench press! triple digits! and a 3×165 DL, 10# from PR – but hey the ol’ legs already did their good deed for the day
