    65-75-85-90-95-100-105(PR)-110(F) …10 lbs PR!! When I first started working out at CFM, I thought I couldn’t lift more than 60 lbs for cleans… and cleans (and some of the lifts) used to scare the crap out of me and now I love them. I’m starting to build some confidence.

    Good workout… shoulders were burning from yesterday but cleans felt good, technique for the squat clean felt better = happy!

    I missed my gloves today. Are gloves really that bad??

      1. Cause you’re dependent on them. Someone posted a good article a while ago that I can’t find about why you shouldn’t use them… I believe the context was that you can condition your hands to the damage but not with gloves. And I think Kevin mentioned once that it does the same thing because your hands still rub on the inside of the gloves anyway, same as the bar…

      2. Yes I remember the article that’s when I stopped wearing them. Lol I can’t seem to get used to the type of grip we were using today w no gloves. 🙂 how long does it take for your hands to adapt ?

      3. Using gloves is like using a crutch. If you sprained your ankle, you’d be on crutches for a while. But you don’t use the crutches forever.

        If you tear your hand, use gloves. But don’t rely on them forever. You won’t always have them in real life.

    I am pretty happy with my squat cleans since this is the first time in probably 4-5 months that I attempt 1RMs.
