  1. Hey i wont be able to make i this morning me and ed were out late last night with friends and decided that it probly wasnt a good idea to go to crossfit on so little sleep. Sorry for the short notice.

    Nice work everyone. I think we unanimously concluded that it’s much harder to workout in the morning. Rowing at 6am is no exception. It sucks!! But I feel so good right now 🙂 Well worth it.

  4. Thanks everyone!! I am so happy! It was a great experience!

    It was great to get back to basic and got teach the basic movements learned in the fundamental. No matter how much experience you’ve got with crossfit or any type of training, your technique could always get better (continuous improvement). However, my technique wasn’t too bad since I never being brought to the center (where they bring people to correct major technique issues), I even got a few “Really good” from coaches and I have to thanks Kevin for that! I didn’t remember how much a broomstick could make you feel sore!
    The lectures were interesting and the coaches were amazing (Hello Miranda and Heather abs) and each have they own teaching style which was interesting to see! I think I would really like the challenge to coach people and get better at it!
    I met interesting people at the cert beside the coaches. I am getting nervous about the game since I saw a few “greek god” women!
    And I got beat on Fran by a Men names Vincent who is in his 60’s! It was amazing seeing the guy doing kipping pullups. Heather, you’re on your way!! 🙂

    Could you cancel my 4:15 class .. WOOHOO I did my first half marathon yesterday it was fun but my legs are so sore today !! Congrats MC for you`re level 1

    I know that I can do better than that time, but first time rowing 2K so a little hard to judge the right pace. Great job am crew! Also, registered for the Paleo challenge…should be interesting.

  12. Shoulder Press 1RM –> 95-105-115-125(f)-125(f)

    2k row –> 7:19.3

    I felt presses felt pretty weak. I pressed 125 before, but today it wasn’t going up.
    Well, it was my first real training involving shoulders since 1 week (I think). At around 750m, my left shoulder started to bug me a lot. By the end of the 2k, it was really painful… still got a PR by 5s I think, so I am happy. Now, I need to take care of that shoulder.

    First time rowing 2K. I took a couple of short breaks, where instead I should have just slowed down to a coast. I know I’ll hit this harder next time. Technique and Breathing will get me to sub 8 minutes next time.

    No Strength tonight as I am nursing a sore shoulder/neck (again).

    WOD ROW 2K – 7:53.5 PR by 40 seconds!!

    I was very surprised by this as I hadnt done the 2k row since last February. Thats the power of Crossfit baby. Despite some setbacks and a lot of injury time off a PR anyway. I love it!
