4sec PR from Aug 27, 2013 and Tied overall PR set in Legs for Literacy. Pretty happy considering it is my first 5k this year.
Chantal, thank you for the “lean forward with hips” tip, it really worked. I focused on that and landing on the front part of my feet and everything else seemed to fall into place.
Goal for Legs for Literacy on Oct 26th is sub 20min.

No PR, I was expecting that…I’m hauling around a few extra pounds since last time we did this one. 🙂 I was about 45 seconds off. I’ll pr it next time, getting my diet back on track next week after vacation. I’ve had a great summer. haha
