    Thanks so much for running with me Alaina!

    I haven’t run a 5k in ~3 years so I’m happy with this and no stopping or water breaks 🙂

    Good job everyone! Thanks Chantal 🙂

  4. Mod & Running review

    5k = 21:02

    4sec PR from Aug 27, 2013 and Tied overall PR set in Legs for Literacy. Pretty happy considering it is my first 5k this year.

    Chantal, thank you for the “lean forward with hips” tip, it really worked. I focused on that and landing on the front part of my feet and everything else seemed to fall into place.

    Goal for Legs for Literacy on Oct 26th is sub 20min.

  7. Subbed run for a row.

    5K Row

    time = 23:16

    Last time I did just under 25min, so very pleased. I’m sure those awful rowing sprints helped. I felt I go have kept going!

    Yay Julia I was happy we were rowing together!

    1. Yeah… that didn’t look enjoyable at all.
      On the other hand your pace was freaky consistent and your form was awesome.

  8. Can you please cancel my 5pm, I tried to cancel on the zenplanner but the page was not working properly, I will be there later today, Thanks 🙂

    Thanks for the class Steph!!

    1. BUT you ran without stopping, I think that’s a PR?!

      And next time you run we’ll establish some phone rules before you leave so that you don’t mess with your chance at a PR on your time. 😉

      Great job today 🙂

    5k in 24:41 … Ridiculously happy and surprised to be under 25 minutes 😀

  12. 5k run: 18:13

    No PR, I was expecting that…I’m hauling around a few extra pounds since last time we did this one. 🙂 I was about 45 seconds off. I’ll pr it next time, getting my diet back on track next week after vacation. I’ve had a great summer. haha

    1. Please stop complaining about a sub-20 min run!
      Don’t be disappointed in what you didn’t do, celebrate that your time beats a very good number of people on the planet!

      If you were being chased by a bear I am sure you’d make up that 45 sec somewhere.

  13. WOD:
    Started with 3k run: ended @ 17:19
    Added the last lap and short loop to make it 5k @ 28:40

    Supprised… I haven’t ran 5k since high school and that was a long time ago!

  14. WU x 1

    5km run
    Time= 31:38 (40 secs slower than my best time back in 2012 but 10 min PR from my 5km run back in June 20th this year) happy with my time 🙂
