    This was an extremely difficult workout, my arms are like jello. Everyone did an awesome job. Went down to red to be able to finish. Sonia, I hope your hands are ok. You are one tough lady! Pat great job finishing the workout.

    Allow me to recap the WOD so the evening people know what to expect:

    195 pound Deadlift, 15 reps –>sucks
    50 Pull-ups –> holy crap that’s a lot of pullups and it sucks!
    195 pound Deadift, 12 reps –> You just did 50 pullups so at this point you think it’s impossible to lift 200lbs. That REALLY sucks.
    40 Pull-ups –> are you kidding me? that sucks!
    195 pound Deadlift, 9 reps –> great only 9 reps now. WAIT! It still SUCKS!!!
    30 Pull-ups –> This is when you realize you’re gonna run out of time and not finish the workout. THAT sucks 🙁
    195 pound Deadlift, 6 reps –> Coach is laughing at you cause you’re making funny faces…AND TAKING PICTURES!!!… it SUUUUUCCKS!
    20 Pull-ups –> Hands are bleeding. Blood making grip slippery. Can it suck any worse?
    195 pound Deadlift, 3 reps –> Pfft only 3 reps. Piece of cake right? WRONG! IT SUCKS BIG TIME!!
    10 Pull-ups –> I do this every day in my warm up. But at this point I realize that I won’t be able to for the next couple weeks because of skin rippage 🙁 yep, that SUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCKKKKKS!!!!

    only got to 6 PU (had four left but the 20 min was up!) so close… but hands just wouldn’t hold on anymore!!! It was a bloody scene… and Pat is sooo right… it sucked! Oh and the deadlifts… they’re not a break!

    Great job am crew…. Pat you did awesome at finishing this workout, you kept me pushing, I was ahead of you for a bit but you were fast for the last few rounds of pullups, great job and thanks for the push at the end 🙂

      1. I cut up the dead skin… it’s a very big and deep rip!!! Should be fun trying to massage for the next few days!!!

    I substituted pull ups for ring rows on today’s work. On days like today this nagging shoulder comes in handy. Do I feel bad about that??…Not on your life, as I think Pat summed it it nicely and I was witness to Sonia’s hands. OUCH. You guys are warriors.

    So…finished 20 minutes with the 6 Deadlifts.
    Total = 120 pullups and 42 deadlifts.
    Pat’s post scared me so I went shopping for tape at noon hour.
    It worked!

    Thank you Pierre for telling me to get back on the bar. I honestly quit in my head at the 30 PUs. I just decided that I wasn’t going to finish in time, but because of you and Kevin telling me to grab on the bar and finish…I did. 🙂
    Pretty much hated this workout. Hands are a mess. Trying to cut my steak was interesting.

    1. Great push Gillyon! I knew you could finished within 20 minutes!

      It is a lot of a mental game that kind of workout! If you walk away from the pullup bar or your deadlift bar, you loose a lot of time and you will take more time to start back. You did great!

    Did the “Modified Daigle WOD” substituted pull ups for ring rows, Kevin was right…they suck “differently”. Felt like my arms were going to explode!

    Dead lifts at 70% were too light; I guess I get it easy until 1s come around again. 🙂 I’m just super stoked about actually finishing all of those pull ups. The most I’ve ever done in one day!

    1. My back is so sore already from those ring pull ups its nuts. I can literally feel every muscle in my back
