First workout of 2016 and appropriately named. I hope you take your training to the next level and crush your goals. Let’s make 2016 the best year yet!
Three rounds of:
Burpees
75 pound Power snatch
Box jump, 24″ box
75 pound Thruster
Chest to bar Pull-ups
“Hope” has the same format as Fight Gone Bad. In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. On call of “rotate,” the athlete/s must move to next station immediately for good score. One point is given for each rep.
Compare to Oct.28/13
This was not good today. Too much pie, cookies, drinks, etc.etc.etc.
Burpees – 20-15-14 (+3)
P.Snatch – 16-14-12 (+2)
Box Jumps – 38-28-23 (-24)
Thrusters – 15-12-12 (even)
C2B Pullup – 15-12-11 (-15)
Total – 257 (old PR – 291)
So as you can see, the holidays made moving my bodyweight much more challenging. 34 reps away from PR from 3.5 years ago. I vow to eat all the salads from now on.
I was looking at your numbers and thinking I was close to you, then I saw the INSANE number of box jumps!
