I guess I’m one of the lucky ones. I can eat what I want and I not gain a pound. People hate me for it. I’ve been told many times. And because of that, it’s hard to put myself in the shoes of someone struggling with weight loss. I don’t know what it’s like to be called names because of my weight. I don’t know how it feels to be out of breath from taking a few flight of stairs. I don’t know what it’s like to experience any of this.
But I’ll tell you what I can do. I can be there for you. I can listen. I can provide advice. I can tell you what types of food to avoid. I can tell you that regular exercise will help.
I can tell you a lot of things. But you have to work your ass off. The ball is in your court to make the changes.
