  1. Can’t make it this morning .
    Muffin got sprayed in the face by a skunk as I let her out to pee.
    Got to wash her or something.
    Poor thing.

    1. Ahh, that really sucks. A tried & true method to wash it out (yes, I’ve used it):

      1 quart of peroxide
      1/4 c. baking soda
      squirt of dish soap

      Message it through her coat & then rinse it off. Not sure how you’ll handle her face, as you can’t get this in her eyes. (Note: It will bleach out Muffin’s coat a bit, but it’s better than the stink)

    Fun work out. Last time I did burpee pullups we were at the old gym and I had the assitance of a couple of rubber plates. Hmmmm, guess that was awhile ago.

    Everyone should try the 7 a.m. class, this was fun! Great to meet you Tom.

    90% of the turkish getups where from my right arm, my left arm really felt weak. I did the turkish getups before using #35. Possible consequences of lack of sleep. Jog was slow, but I couldn’t be happier that I manage to jog around the block being excessively tired. Loving the sit-ups! Good job 4:15 πŸ™‚

    I used 25# instead of 20# this time…it made the getups quite a bit tougher, but it was a good weight!

    Wow! That was a lot harder than I thought it would be (TWSS)! Running after the burpee pull ups was just awful, can’t really call it running, more like a shuffle. Great job everyone!

    3rd WOD and still suffering from the first one almost a week ago! At some point the soreness goes away right?

    1. The initial painful sore eventually goes away and gets replaced with soreness you can (usually) tolerate. But yes, you’re always going to be sore. That’s how you know you’re always getting faster, stronger, better. πŸ™‚

    TGUs are still a very complicated, awkward movement for me. I have to think of every single step before I do it….hopefully this starts to feel more natural soon.
