  1. Hi all!
Se’re thinking about going for brunch after 12.5. Who’s in?
Don’t know where yet. Any ideas?

  2. Games WOD 12.5
    35 reps

I really wanted that 9th C2B but just could not get there. I think if I had gotten it right away I could have gotten most of my 12 Thrusters in but alas it was not to be.
For getting my first Chest-to-Bar on Thursday I was pretty happy with the result, but I REALLY wanted to get to those 12’s!

Thanks to Patrick for the encouragement and judging! Congrats to everyone who participated regardless of your score. And thanks to Kevin and Jo for hosting everyone over the last 5 weeks!

  3. 12.5 is in the books. A little dissapointed with my 57 reps, would love to have even half of my reps back and I would have exceeded my goal.

A sincere thanks to Kevin and Joanna for all the work you put in to make this an incredible experience for everyone. This was the first CrossFit Games for me and I am so glad I challenged myself to do it. It has permanently changed my approach to every single WOD. Every day should be game day.

Thanks as well to all the trainers and volunteers, you all made it a great experience.

    1. You’ve done an amazing job in all the games wods and today is no different. Your progress since joining CFM is absolutly remarkabale so a big congratulations Darsey – so glad you’re in our Box!

    3. Wow, thank you so much for the nice comments. I am very pleased of my progress so far since I started in September.

  4. CrossFit Games site has crashed. I guess everyone is on trying to to see the scores. I will post if I get on the site later today to enter the score.

  5. I could hear the screaming!!

Thanks to everyone who hooped, hollared or howled today! I heard ever bit of it and if made a huge difference. So happy with the entire Games experiece, Great job to all the judges, athletes and especially K & J. Can’t believe I’m part of this amazing event and already making plans for next year.

69 Reps PR of 11 reps compared to 11.6

I am very happy with this despite not having been 100%.

Great performance from all athletes once again!

Thanks Marcel for judging as well as all the judges and for Kevin and Jo for hosting these Games and all the fans for their great support.

    And now some rest.

  7. Games WOD 12.5

    46 Reps

I had a goal in mind of 50 Reps, which I thought was a shot in the dark! But considering I had a few no reps..I totally could have done it! Great job today everybody. The games were so much fun even with the anxiety and sleepless nights. Maybe I should celebrate with a Big Mac?

  8. Games WOD 12.5 – 48 reps (Last year – 51 reps.)

Congrats everyone! Thanks Kevin & Jo! Thanks for the cookies Heather! 😀

  9. Games WOD 12.5
    54 Reps

A little disapointed with my score, was really hoping for 60. To many no reps on the C2B in my last round. Nonetheless really happy with my overall performance in the Games. So glad I joined, it was a great experience. Thanks to Kevin and Jo for hosting an awesome event and thanks to all the spectators and judges. You guys are awesome!

    Congrats everyone!

    1. awesome job Greg, you did well and gave what you had. this is what makes us come back for more. all 5 events were very good for you. great points.

  10. 12.5 score 59
tried to grab some bonus points today but that was not to be.
just not enough gas left in the tank and got some no-reps on the C2B’s at the end.
    too short a recovery time.
completed the 12.5 on thursday night with 64
    so the 64 will stand.

Jo thanks for judging and the tips along the way, greatly appreciated.

So glad i listened to you guys and joined the games. they were awesome, challenging, fun and a great experience. I really enjoyed it.

to Keviin and Jo, wonderful job organizing the whole event, you two are a smooth working team, pleasure to see you in action. Things do not go that perfectly without one hell of a lot of planning in the background so Kudos to the two of you and your whole team of volunteers. Job well done!!

Very proud and happy to be part of the CF team.

BIG THANK YOU TO – Kevin and Joanna
Everything was organized and ran to perfection

  13. 12.5 redo = 85 reps (PR of 9 reps from Wed and 26 reps from one year ago 11.6 !!!)

Thanks for hosting a great Open K&J!!
I had a goal of Placing in the top half of the competitors in Canada East – after these 5 weeks, I am just happy to say I gave it my all! Tried every WOD 2x (3x for some) and I didn’t always improve but I made sure my max effort was given to each. Congrata to all the Competitors – thank you so much Judges!! And thank you to all those that came to cheered! 🙂

  14. Games WOD 12.5
    Score 5 reps
+ at least 15 more no reps trying to get that 6th one in to get to more Thrusters…. just didn’t happen.
I want to try again tomorrow.

  15. Did this on Thursday with Jo.

    98 reps (a PR of 2 reps)

It’s been a crazy 5 weeks! I’m still pumped that we had 53 people register to compete. It brought out a lot of energy and some new found strength.

Many thanks to all the volunteers! You helped make the events run very smooth!

Up next….2012 Atlantic Hopper Event – July 28th!

    1. Also known as Rob’s birthday. Nothing better than 100 athletes doing 33 burpees to begin the hopper.

  16. Official score 12.5: 1 rep

    Modified WOD:
    Push press/jerk 65#
Pull ups (med & xsm band)
    Total: 82 reps

    Great job everybody!!

  17. Games WOD 12.5

    78 reps

    Thanks for judging Marco 🙂

Super happy with this. I was worried about C2B (ask Jeff S….no wait, don’t ask him! LOL) and had hoped to make it through the round of 12. Getting into the round of 15 with C2B was pure gravy.

Another fabulous morning at CFM. We should do these kinds of “competitions” more often. I usually push myself pretty hard on our day to day WODs, but there was something about the Games that made me dig just a little bit deeper….and “want it” just a little bit more.

Kudos again to Kevin and Joanna for organizing another smoothly-run event. And thanks again to all those who volunteered their time to judge, take photos and BAKE COOKIES (Thank you Heather W).

  18. On Thursday – 86 Reps (PR of 12 from last year)

Its been a pretty crazy 5 weeks. Amazing effort by everyone on all the workouts, so proud to see so many people push themselves to do things they didn’t think possible. Hopefully everyone takes away something from the whole experience. Look forward to seeing what you are all capable of next year and coaching you through the journey there.

Big thank you to all the trainers/judges/volunteers, we certainly couldn’t have done it all without all of you.

  19. Also did it on Thursday -> 55 Reps

Wanted to try tmr but shoulder is saying enough already. Its been bothering me since I tried to snatch my damn body weight in 12.2.

    Maybe next time!

Everyone did so well. I could feel the energy from work!!! The thread and Facebook feeds have left me smiling all day.

Big thank you to Kevin and Joanna for making this such a successful Open and for accommodating so many people all week long. You guys are the best!

  20. Game WOD : 12.5

    Total = 48 reps

Really happy with my score, went with 6 reps as a goal this morning had a hard time with my chest to bar pull-ups yesterday.
Thank Joanna for coaching and the tip on the C2B before the WOD it help a lot

  21. Games WOD 12.5

Officially 3 reps, C2B just weren’t there yet, but I got a first pull up Friday night while practicing…long time since I’d done one!!

Decided not to ” beat my head against the wall” today when I knew it wasn’t going to happen, and completed with 2 xsm bands finishing with 43 reps.

A little disappointed I had to scale the last WOD, but originally thought it could have been all of them, and I’ve seen lots of progress this last month, so very happy that I participated and got to be part of it all with you!

Great moments every week!! Thanks to all who made it possible!!

Looking forward to comparing with my results next year and trying some again in a couple of months 🙂

  22. Thanks for all for the support…the experience was great! Thanks to all of the coaches who took time for me to complete the games workouts when my schedule didn’t allow me to get there on a Saturday.

Really enjoyed it and can’t wait for the Hopper!
