    30 HR Push Ups

    Time = 13:52….just under the wire.

    Started out really strong with 60 unbroken DU’s (PR for me), but it gassed me for the the rest of the work out. OHS were REALLY heavy.

        Of course aging does beat the alternative!

  6. Looking at that photo of Blake, it seems Crossfitters dont have to do rope pull-down arm extensions to get that nice tricep definition.

    Almost seems like we’re doing something right. 🙂

    Time = 14:02 or 3….I had 3 DU’s left at the buzzer! So DNF, I guess!

    What a hard one! I started panicking on my OHS, as they were very difficult. I would like to try this again, and stay calm. Maybe I would make it under the wire!

  9. QOD: I would say somewhere in my late 20’s. It is hard to say because I am in better shape now then I have ever been at any age.

    1. Ditto on Jack’s QOD response. I feel great, but if I had started this in my 20’s my life would no doubt be very different.

    *Yeah, so for the 1st round of push-ups I forgot to do Hand-Release. Remembered about 7 in to the 2nd set. DOH!

    Well that went to hell really fast hahaha! Both a skipping WOD and bench press yesterday did NOT help. Still liked it tho. Havent done OHS in a WOD in a long time it seems.

    Would have had it if my skipping rope hadn’t wrapped itself in a loving embrace with Crystal’s rope while we were skipping. Sorry Crystal!!

  24. Qod, before cfm I felt much older than I am. Now I can honestly say energy wise and health wise I feel like I am in my early 20’s. Some of the aches and pains are the reality to my age though… Lol thank you CFM..

    Wasn’t sure how far I’d get with the DU’s and got 44 unbroken to start the first round 🙂 Think that might be a pr so I’m glad I gave it a shot and glad I made it to the noon class. Great job everyone!

    I have no idea what I was thinking. I have not done OHS in my strength in a long time and I think that 30 OHS @ 85lbs was a smart thing to do? Wrong! Very humbling indeed!
