    Back squat (3) up to 135lbs. Technique is feeling much time to up the weight. Thanks Nat and Ron for the help today. And, thanks Pat for the hint on the knees last week. It made a HUGE difference.

    64?? Really disappointed with this. During the WOD, I lost count and could not remember if I was on my 6s or 8s. I went with the lower number…so I hope that is why my score is so low.

    Pistols were a little better looking than last weeks’. HSPU kipping came along pretty good.

    QOD: Everybody can excel once and a while, but to do it consistently its probably due to dedication which turns into habit. I suppose you could compare Excellence with Virtuosity as well.

  9. Did this last night with Jo. Walked in, fully expected to scale the pistols to a box. After my strength, I tried a pistol. And I did one! Ok, try the other leg. WHAT?! Now I have to do it Rx’d.

    107 reps in total. First workout ever doing pistols without a box! I told Amanda at the 5 min mark, I can stop now and I’d be happy. Big smile on my face the entire workout!

    So to everyone who has something they suck at, keep working on it. I’ve been doing CrossFit for almost 6 years, and I can finally check pistols off my list. With patience and hard work, you will succeed!

    Never realized I was signed up, hadn’t worked out in a week due to almost-cold and not getting solid sleep. Glad I did it tho… Somehow each time, I end up WODing when I dont think I will… Thanks Jeff for the reminder!

    Which is why I had my pup with me, didnt plan on him tagging along while i WOD, but he behaved surprisingly well. Thanks if you gave him a little bit of attention while I was busy, I appreciate it.

    No strength. Foam roller and lacrosse ball love. Some barbell calf-smash, too.

    HSPU’s (scaled to regular pushups) + Pistols (to 12″ box)

    Total: 98/2 + 84 = 133

    Shoulder bothering me when I go overhead so scaled to regular push ups. Happy to do pistols to 12″ box. I usually do them to a 12″ box + 25# plate….so this is progress 🙂

      1. Trying to save myself, from myself (LOL) by modifying some movements. Its nothing too serious right now, but I am trying to play it smart and keep it that way. 🙂

    WU X 1 (ring dips w purple band- 3rd time trying them got 10 in a row:) first attempt last week couldn’t get my knees in the bands, and Wednesday had to break 10 in two attempts thanks Jeff and Lance your tips really helped)

    80-85-95-95-105 ( did 95 twice as Lora and Jack gave me some good tips made the front squat a lot easier on my wrists. Thanks!)
