Yes, we did C&J’s yesterday, but today is a little different. Today, we’re building up to a heavy single. It will be slow and gradual, so your form will need to be spot on. If you fail a lift, you have to wait until the next minute to re-attempt. If you miss again, take weight off the bar. Dems da rulz.

    According to Del’s website, I am β€œBig Psycho” Lol I’m not sure how I feel about this but cant argue the accuracy of the title. I had also seen a meme that said your wrestling name is the colour of your underwear and the last thing you ate. In which case, I am β€œthe purple shrimp” haha

    Power cleans:
    Stared at 35, stayed at 85 for quite a few reps, failed 110 on the second to last lift but then managed to clean it in the last lift! PR by 30 pounds πŸ™‚

    Made it 225 successfully followed by three failed attempts at 235. But now I am going to correct this deficiency and get that up to 235 as that would be a PR for me. Mobility was rough at some spots and work on open up hips more I’m going to do the couch stretch for three days straight

    – Shoulder was weak / hurting toward the end. Some technique and strengthening / healing are in order.

    Started at 55 and added 5 until I got to 115 and got stopped in my tracks…..back to 110 for the remainder with a few more attempts at 115. No joy:(
    Lost form with the 115 every attempt…had enough lift but couldn’t get under it.
    Grrrrrr….this is 15 under my one rep max, back sliding makes me cranky.
