  7. My first job was doing military reenactments with the Signal Hill Tattoo. We performed twice a day during the summer. It was the year of the Cabot 500 celebrations in Newfoundland and we performed for the Queen during her visit! It was a fun summer!

  8. My first job was in 11th grade. I worked at Birks Jewellers as a sales associate. It was a really fun job. I got to dress up and sell jewellery. They allowed us to wear the really expensive jewellery during our shift in the hopes that customers would ask about itπŸ˜›

  9. My first job was working at a dog kennel – taking care of the dogs, running the supply store, helping with grooming, and grounds work/maintenance

  10. QOD: my first job was at a lotto booth when I was 15. I won $250 on a break open ticket had to get my mom to claim it. Lol!!

  11. QOD: Waitress at 13 or 14. Made about 100$ every Sunday. That was good enough to buy lunches for the week, the cover charge for the teen dance on Friday night, a half pint of lemon gin and smokes with some left over…Wow! I was really living the dream back then!

  12. What was your first job?
My first job was working at the nursing home in River Glade.. Talk about learning life lessons early! I worked mostly on a ladies floor, but did my share of working on the men’s floor.. Oh the stories I could tell..😏

Last time I did this with 60# and finished 9:47.. So not better…
I felt I kept a good pace, but my grip has still not recovered since Tuesday and DIED on the 3rd round..
Nice to see some new faces at the 7am

    1. Maybe you should do the math on the weight lifted over the time spent (aka Mario math)… I think you might be surprised!

    2. I used more weight and was slower as well by 1:08 but a weight change is still a PR regardless of time.

Also other factors are involved in why you could have been slower like rest, hydration, weather, time of day, nutrition last few days, recovery from previous workouts, etc….so basically what I’m trying to say is you went in and did the work and used more than last time so congrats!

    3. Thanks guys!
My plan has always been just show up and do the work..
Would I have gone faster knowing my previous score? Possibly.. so many excuses in my head right now..
