  1. LOVE reading your recap Blake!
    I wish that I was coached by you more often when I was full time in Moncton.
    I remember the first time you coached a class I was in. Honestly I was a little nervous. No reason to be, just because I didn’t know you as a coach and I had Kevin so often haha
    I was pleasantly surprised! You picked up on such small things for me to change in my lifts and gave me great tips for the wod. It was all so helpful and very well delivered.
    Please keep learning! We are all better for it.
    You’re a great coach and a pretty awesome human 🙂

    The three recaps by our coaches this week should make all of us at CFM feel good about how well we are coached…it is surely the case for me. I enjoyed reading about your experience Blake, and the impact it had on you as a coach.

  7. What time do you usually go to bed?
    LOL – um.. around 8 (ya I know, my wife laughs at me) but I read a bit first and I get up anywhere between 2-5, 6:30 when I sleep in on the weekend, but only 1 day.

  12. Did this on Labour Day with 185# in 8:54 with very fresh legs.

    Today my legs were not as fresh and used 195# in 11:24.

    Still love this WOD when it’s over but during it I regret my life choice at the time.
