    QOD: The opportunity to be a part of something so big! It’s amazing all the athletes around the world all going up against the same fight! It’s pretty cool.

  3. QOD: Cause it’s fun! It’s just another WOD to me… and hell yeah paying 20$ to do these workout with my friends at CFM with everyone cheering is worth it! Plus I get to see SO many lovely faces that I don’t often see because of different schedule! I love love love love the open. πŸ™‚

    I’m doing it because it’s SO much fun!!

    To be a part of something that is SO big.

    To see everyone giving so much of themselves. Our members leaving the gym feeling like they accomplished so much.

    The excitement in the air at the gym! It’s my favorite time of year!

    Shins were touching forearms but I can’t say my leg was straight when it happened. My Grasshoppers probably looked more like a crippled Mountain Climber.

    QOD: No real reason but I have come to a realization that my performance over the years is usually the lowest before the Open. So the Open is what kicks off my training for the year.

    QOD: Because I don’t really have a reason not to. And I had been humming and hawing about it but apparently I am incredibly suggestible because once my aunt signed up, the idea seemed even better.

    160 reps Rx at the 10 min mark

    Didn’t have too many no reps but was doing them 5 at a time by the time I was in the second 100. I had planned to finish even if I blew by the time cap, but with 40 still to go I decided to call it a day.

  19. Qod, I sign up for the open because it is amazing! If you enjoy crossfit at all, then u will absolutely love the open. It is just like a regular class, but energy levels and support from everyone is amplified 10 fold! So if u haven’t signed up yet! Get on it!!!! You won’t regret it!

    I definitely need to work on those! Felt much harder than I remember haha.
