  2. Handstand holds in 5 min. I didn’t keep track of my time just tried to hold myself as long as I could. there was some swearing, it was making me laugh..very hard to hold a handstand while laughing 🙂

  8. QOD: We never really had sugary cereals at home (my mom’s smart like that) so basically ANY sugary cereal I could get my hands on at sleepovers and whatnot = my favorite 😛

    QOD: I was only allowed Shredded Wheat and (sugar-free) Life or Cheerios when I was a kid, so I never developed a taste for super sugary cereals. The first time I tried Froot Loops (at 10 years old, thank you Girl Guide camp!) I was grossed out.

    Handstand Hold accumulated over 5 mins: 2:35 (including PR of 20 seconds to get a 1 min hold!) But after yesterday’s migraine, that much inverted time has left me perma-dizzy.

    QOD: We didn’t have a lot of money growing up, so Mom bought those giant bags of puff cereal. Throw in powdered milk and it was wicked tasty(NOT). Needless to say the first time I had Froot Loops I thought I had died and gone to heaven.

      1. And me too! I actually liked the puff wheat when we had the treat of “real” milk. Unbelievable!

  13. QOD: Just like Ryan, my mom only bought sugary cereal as a treat – since it didn’t happen so very often, she would buy my dad’s favorite: Corn pop or Honey combs… I would always want fruit loops but she thought they were TOO sugary!!!! Fruit loops would still be my choice today!

    QOD: My mom bought these gigantic bags of “puff” cereal which needed a thousand tablespoons of sugar to make them enjoyable! The first time I had Corn pops…I fell in love!!

    1. Lord, another puffed wheat casualty! I feel your pain. It was the worst cereal and came in the biggest bag EVER.
      It was the cereal that never ended. That stuff lasted forever

    QOD: Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Fruitloops were always a treat, as were Reese Puffs which we got only when we did our annual overnighter in PEI. Funny how cereal can trigger nostalgia 🙂 .

    Rowing* was smooth, burpees were constant, HSC were all singles, waaay too slow at 135#. No intensity there, should’ve scaled back to allow for consecutive reps. Live and learn.

    And now let’s nerd out on the rowing part of the WOD….

    I liked doing this. I had no previous time to go off of, so it was cool to see just how long I could actually stay up there
