  1. I’m sad to miss another fun wod!! 🙁

What makes a good Crossfitter? I think a positive attitude will lead to good performance no matter who you are.

  2. I think attitude is important in every part of your life. Crossfit helps people have a good attitude because of the spirit in the gym. I think to be a good Crossfittter you also have to make your workouts a habit so you can build on performance.

great job to everyone this morning.

    1. Don’t give up on the pull ups. I couldn’t do a single pull up and had to use a green band when I started back in June. 2 months later I was doing 10 kipping pull ups unassisted. I maxed 35 kipping pull ups about a month ago.

If you keep working on it, it’ll come quicker than you think.

  4. Two things, consistency and heart. Be consistent going to the gym and performing at your 100 percent capacity and have some heart. take it to the next level you know that wall is coming, hit it head on. It’s what you do when you hit that wall. Take that to your everyday life and you will not only be a champion in the gym but you will be a champion in everyday life.

As for fitness anyone who goes to a work out and hits their wall and keeps pushing, you are a crossfiter.

    WOD:
    15 Power Cleans(135)
    15 Pull Ups

I think attitude has alot to do with it the more positive you are the better you tend to do and with all the support you get at crossfit from everyone around you its hard not to have a positive attitude. Great job today everyone.

  6. A positive attitude, doing your best and supporting others in doing their best. I can remember several times during a WOD or just doing my weights when I though there is nothing left in me and you hear a voice with some encouragement and you find energy you didn’t know you had.

  7. What makes a good CrossFitter? Is it your performance, attitude, behavior, habits?

Consistently showing up even on days you don’t feel like it and no surrender while you’re there.

  8. A good crossfitter attacks whatever workout is presented in front of him at 110% not matter how hard it looks (no cherry picking). That has a lot to do with attitude and not being afraid of failure.

    Turkish get ups:
    successfully did a 65lbs barbell 🙂

    AMRAP in 7 minutes of:
    15 Power Cleans 135 lbs
    15 Pull-Ups

    2 rounds + 4 Power Cleans

  9. A good Crossfitter is any person, regardless of fitness level, who has a desire for personal improvement and is not afraid to challenge themselves outside of their comfort zone. The “C” word is not part of their vocabulary.

  10. WU x 2
    Strength = 15 min of Turkish Git-ups!

Good Driving = Good Habits. i.e.. I’m on the road, no one around me for miles. I change lanes. I use my signal. It becomes unconscious. I come to a stop sign. I And this surprises a lot of people) actually stop. Even at 4am and the streets are empty. Good Habits. To the point where it actually feels wrong and uncomfortable if I don’t.

Combine that with a positive attitude and good road behaviour and you have a good driver.

I think it’s the same thing with Crossfit. I go in with a positive attitude. I go in with good behaviour… ish, I like a joke and to play around like anyone else, but I’m not going to purposely embarrass anyone, hurt anyone, or confront anyone.

Those 2 for me are the easy part. I
Good habits are the core though. I really work hard on not developing any bad habits. I want to be as good as I can be, as safe as I can be in each move of lift that I perform.
In the middle of a WOD if I’m tired and I am performing a lift or move that I’ve glossed over or not focused on learning properly then I could really hurt myself or even worse, someone else.

I’m still learning, and hope to keep learning for as long as I live. That’s what being a good Crossfitter means to me at this point.

Plus throw in a few “That’s what she said” s and it’s perfect.
    Cheers!

  12. Good habits, positive attitude, dedication, etc. All elements to becoming a good “Crossfitter” – don’t think I’m there yet, but I won’t stop trying until I am. Crossfit is like our daily lives, we should continuously look to improve.
