Fight Gone Bad

Three rounds of:

Wall-ball, 20 pound ball, 10 ft target (Reps)
Sumo deadlift high-pull, 75 pounds (Reps)
Box Jump, 20″ box (Reps)
Push-press, 75 pounds (Reps)
Row (Calories)

In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute.The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. On call of “rotate”, the athletes must move to next station immediately for best score. One point is given for each rep, except on the rower where each calorie is one point.

    • Donations are encouraged for the Canadian Cancer Society.
    • Tax receipts will be available for any donations of $20.00 or more.
    • Scaling of the WOD will be available.
    • 4 Heats with scoring parters have been scheduled.
    • Long socks or pants are recommended for the SDHPs.

    I felt like puking and quitting after round 1 but glad I stuck it out though there was a significant decline in my reps for rounds 2 & 3.

    Thanks to Marc and Jeff for all their hard work!! It was a great morning and such an awesome atmosphere!!! there are alot of newbies and it is great that they get to experience the gym with this intensity and community feel!!! Great Job Greg Mac (who I scored) and thanks to Gabrielle for being a great Judge and motivator!!

    First time doing FGB. Wished I could have done the box jumps but calf injury won’t allow it. Can’t wait to do it again as rx’d to compare.

    Thanks to Jeff for organizing today and having it run so smooth and for going the extra mile in making it official (getting the “cancer support” banner and official tax receipts) Made it that much more rewarding.
    Huge respect to all the first timers coming out for such a tough Wod. Gichie is 1 week in and today was day #1 for Jay. If I am being honest, you would not have found me doing it this soon in. So kudos to you ladies!!!!!!

  13. FGB started with SDHP, everything as rxedexcept for boxjumps which I needed to substitute for air squats because of right shin area injury…

    Total 264 – everything was fairly consistent except for wall balls, my last exercise… Well maybe I was consistent on those too since they sucked from beginning to end LMAO… I’m going to start including them in my warm up…

    Today’s event was so well organized!! Thank you Jeff and Marc for all your hard work; you did a bang up job 😀

    Not a PR by a long shot. Had 248 a year ago. Not important though. Today was more about getting everyone together for another fun Saturday … but this time for a cause.

    37 athletes completed FGB, spectators cheered and everyone gave something a little extra today. In the end we raised a ton of money and left the gym feeling good about what we achieved in personal performance and for charity.

    Thanks for the nice comments today but really it’s all about you. It’s all of us together that made today a success. Congratulations everyone! 🙂

    Happy with my result. Last time I did FGB (december 31/2010) my total was 322 but I had to scale the box jump and the wall ball. Thanks Jeff and Marc! Awesome job everybody!!

    Did first round with prescribed weight but I realized I had to scale the other rounds to WB 10, SDHP and PP @ 45.

    154 reps
    PR of 154 reps since a year ago, I would’ve never thought I could do that.
    Very proud I did it and it can only be better next time! I got the strenght but I need to work on my endurance.
