    There’s a 1.5 km circuit at the rotary park, i thought was perfect. It’s a good run, hills and all. I was gona go to the track, but school started. So that was the next best thing.

  4. I’m going to head to the track around 8pm tonight if anyone wants to join. The 3k is 7.5 laps of the track. I’m shooting for 11min. We’ll see if that’s even possible…

    I just did the 3k run in my neighborhood streets, after using Mapmyrun.com to find the best 3k route.

    I think I would have done a bit better on a real track since I had some small hill in my route.

    I’m jealous of your mad running skills! I’ve been doing a 3k route regularly since April or May, and my pr is only 15:16 (or something like that). Hills are good… I sprint the two major hills on my route.

    Rest day for me today. I teach tonight and I’m preparing for a straight 6 days of training this week so I need some pro-active recovery time.

  7. I have no idea what happened?! I was running, everything felt great, no pain, I burned through my last lap, stopped my watch…10:23. I think I found my distance!

  8. Boy do I feel like a horse’s pe-toot! Ran the 3k tonight, again, and realized I missed a lap last time.

    Actual 3k time – 11:19

    If there’s a positive out of it, I ran at a 6 seconds faster per 400m (1:30/400m vs 1:36/400m).
