    Wall Balls were not quite at 10ft. I smashed my thumb pretty bad at work yesterday which slowed me down quite a bit.

  4. Quick update before we head out.

    We all ate breakfast at the hotel. Going to the Mastercard Center in a few minutes. We were there last night to register and it’s looks amazing! The pullup rig was being constructed and there were a few CrossFit celebrities there….Dave Lipson, Camille Leblanc-Basinet. Ed is star-struck.

    We’re in the first heat at 10:30 for the team row/HSPU/row. Myself, Joanna, Dan and Gillyon will be hitting that one. And then later this afternoon, at 3:00, Ed and Corinna will be going for a max thruster.

    I’ll keep you posted on here. And if you’re following me on facebook, you can catch some pictures and updates there.

  8. Team finished the first workout. Rows were tough. Handstands were a breeze. Finished in 29 something. Didn’t come in last. We’ll know our standings later today.

    Got interviewed a few times.

    Ed and Corinna are up this afternoon. They will each be leading off their heats. Setting the bar high!

    Off to eat lunch now.

  13. Ed successfully put up 155#, but got called on a foot techincality for the next rep and was dq’d from the event. Judging is insanely strict today.

      1. Oh I am sorry, I misread…I thought he was disqualified on the 155#. Does his 155# still count?

      2. Ya, the 155 counted. If not, our whole team would have been dq’d. Thankfully, we get to workout today!
