CrossFit Moncton entered a team into the first annual Corporate Relay at the Moncton Open. Half of the money raised went to the charity of choice for the winning team.

    I can’t remember, do you do full squat cleans for Grace, or power cleans? Not that I’m planning on doing it, just curious.

  10. Well I’m back for the first time in almost two weeks! Boy I’ve missed Crossfit haha. This was a tough one for sure and the two week break showed.

    Strength Deadlift 5×5: 115, 135, 155, 175, 185

    My first time trying this one out for size, not allowed to drop the weights and not doing anything intense has taken it’s toll on my time but I’ll cut that down for sure. I also had the unfortunate event of bar rashing my thigh bringing the weight down on number 13. Boy I dislike Globo gyms haha!

    Pretty happy, but I went too slow at the beginning. After watching Pierre’s sub-3min, I know what I have to do now. GREAT JOB PIERRE!!

    I got a back massage this afternoon, Kevin and I decided it will be better to give my lower back a rest for better recovery.

    Wod: AMRAP in 7 min:
    – 10 floor wipers #65
    – 7 Double unders
    – 5 Ring dips
    Score: 4 rounds + 4 Floor Wipers
    I liked the floor wipers…and first time doing ring dip unassisted in a workout!! YAY!!

    Good Job everyone on those crazy Grace time!!

  13. Well, it was supposed to be my rest day, but I couldn’t pass by Grace!!

    Did 1 round of the warmup and I tried it before the 6:30 class.

    Really happy with my time!

    That’s 150 reps of each and the pushups were pretty tough in the first few rounds.

    Pierre worked with me for a while because these are surprisingly difficult! I didn’t understand just how technical they are. I worked multiple lifts with 65 and 75 lbs. Thanks a lot Pierre you really helped me figure it out.

    Okay, so to date my Clean PR is 95lbs, and my Push Jerk PR is 95 lbs. I did this WOD at my current PRs. It was tough but I was disapointed with my time. I know I can do it faster though and with better form. I’m looking forward to trying it again and DESTROYING my time.
