That felt great, stuck to the plan, worked well, hit my goal and then some. Big thanks to the crowd, they actually exploded when I signaled to crank out the cheers, I was just blown away. Those last 10 reps were all you guys. Great job everyone, thanks Jason for judging me.

Games Open WOD 13.4
The 95# C&Js would have been way out of reach for me at this point, so I scaled it to 50#, which is approximately 70% of my 1RM, I believe. I did sit ups instead of T2B.
If ever this comes up again, I hope to do it Rx’ed. If nothing else comes out of the Open, then I have a whole whack of goals set for myself, now!
Congrats to everyone who tackled this puppy! You were all amazing and inspiring, once again! 🙂

So happy with this because when I they announced it on Wednesday I was thinking I might do 3 if I was lucky. Kevin taught me to do toes to bar yesterday and I got through 2 rounds….so happy with this. Also a 20# PR for the clean and jerk….last PR set two weeks ago with 13.2. Great atmosphere again tonight…great job everyone!

Well this one was definitely a struggle for me mentally this week. Not being able to do a T2B was pretty much all I obsessed about from the time the WOD was announced until the end of the workout yesterday ( well I still am but in a vengeful way not a poor me, life sucks way) I gave it my best and had a good hard workout.
I’ve said it a million times to anyone who will listen, and some who don’t, but the sense of community/family at our box is unbelievable. The amount of people that took time out of their own prep for the WOD to help me, be it with words or strategy, was crazy. We definitely have the best people around 🙂
