9th Annual Hopper Event

First heat starts at 9:15am for some Hopper Strength action. 11:30 will be the Hopper WOD. Come by 359 Baig to check out the action.

Pictured below is all of the previous Hopper events. As you can see, all of the even years are heavy on the squats. It’s 2017, so no squats this year!

    In 6 min, total of 2 complexes.
    1 snatch 3 OHS
    115-135-145-150-150(f).
    So total #295

    WOD
    AMRAP in 13 minutes.
    400m run with #50 KB buy in.
    Then AMRAP of
    10 shoulder to overhead
    30 bar hop
    15 hang power clean
    20 sit-up
    250m row. ( 5 reps)

    Score 170

    Wanted to finish 2 rounds.
    got 2 10.!

    Happy with that.
    Think my strengths was a pr for snatch & 3rm OHS?

    I made it to the tower but as soon as i pulled I ran out of time..

      Strength 45 – 50 – 55 – 60
      I was shaking with the last set but I managed it.. now I am wondering if I should have attempted 65 🤔
      As much as I don’t like going in the first heat I shut my brain off and got it done..
      Thanks to Kevin and Jo for another awesome event, it was actually fun.. oh and our awesome host Blake!! I am already looking forward to next year’s squat fest 😅 !!

    Finished 1 round and 15 bar hoops. 10# PR on my snatch and OHS.
