Fight Gone Bad

Three rounds of:

Wall-ball, 20 pound ball, 10 ft target (Reps)
Sumo deadlift high-pull, 75 pounds (Reps)
Box Jump, 20β€³ box (Reps)
Push-press, 75 pounds (Reps)
Row (Calories)

In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute.The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. On call of β€œrotate”, the athletes must move to next station immediately for best score. One point is given for each rep, except on the rower where each calorie is one point.

  1. Aaah!! I was going to take a day off and you post FGB!!?? Never tried it of course….and have heard about it. I’m assuming this is done in heats and I can be a little late?? Just cause I’m at football practice until 10 @ Rocky so I’d be there at 10:05’ish, does that work Kevin??

  2. FGB Rx (started w/ Wall Balls, same as last time) = 225 (PR 38 reps) Booya!!

    Lower back was kinda tired on round 3 SDHP, but everything went well nonetheless. Shoulders were destroyed from yesterday tho…

    Nice way to start a Saturday. Great efforts everyone, saw some big totals. Thanks Krista for the counting and keeping accurate scores on the Wall-Balls, hehehe! Gonna get 275 next time! πŸ™‚

    First time with this WOD.
    Enjoyed it but will change my mind tomorrow when I tighten up.

    Last time I did this I subbed air squats for box jumps b/c of Achilles. Score then was 307 (but squats are way easier than box jumps!). Also started with the row last time and ended on push presses. Today felt a lot harder starting on SDHP and ending with wall balls. Usually wall balls are my strength…ha! Not today!

    Total: 207 *Started with WB

    PR of 13 reps, last time I did 194, somehow I wrote RX’d but I am 100% sure it was not prescribed because of the fact of my box jumps, this time around I did all prescribed and managed to do 207!!, Thanks Tom for the encouragement, counting the reps for me, and making sure I had a kleenex to clean my blood after rowing :)!!! and also Lora for the Ice pack, so far soo good!!

    P.S. I think this happened to Maria before not sure if it was in the same WOD but you are right never get into a fight with the bar because you’ll always lose. :(!!

    Last time 267. No PR for me today, but I am happy to have completed this one. Six days in a row this week…my body needs rest. Hard lesson for me to learn!

  11. Well, I just couldn’t resist…I was in the same boat as Corrina 6th day today and body needs a rest!!
    Wasn’t the best of circumstances to do FGB for the first time…outside freezing for an hour before, feet were literally numb and got in late so just Mobility, no warm up, hadn’t even ever done a SDHP before haha

    That said, FGB total of 207… Good start for sure πŸ™‚
    55# for PP and SDHP, 20″ Box Jumps, 6#, 10#, 10# for WBs…WBs are my weakness need to practice or grow 6″!! Hmmm

    Great day in the gym, felt like the Games again πŸ™‚ love having a counter!!
