20.2

All the classes will be doing the Open workout today. However, this evening, when you arrive at the gym, mark your name on the whiteboard for your specific heat. If you can judge, put your name under an athlete’s name (there’s bonus points for judging this year).

First heats starts at 5:00pm. Come early, get in a solid warm-up, and bring your A-game.

*Heats are available to ALL CFM member, but prizes/rewards are only available for those who registered for the Open.

Complete as many rounds as possible in 20 minutes of:

4 dumbbell thrusters
6 toes-to-bars
24 double-unders

    1. DB Thrusters sounds worst than they are… could have and should have done Rx
    2. For those like me at the intermediate stage of DU’s, this is a skipping WOD. Found it better to pace in order to decent DU’s chunks than push and trip up continuously… lots of lost time every trip up

  12. Did 20.2 on Sunday in OG:
    Coming off the stomach flu, haven’t done a t2b or put a dumbbell overhead in 6+ months…

    Rx = 384 reps = 11 rounds + 10 reps

    All I did was stay slow cause I didn’t want to get sick if I jacked my heart rate!
    All doubles were unbroken except round 10 (womp)
    Dumbbells unbroken but slow cause of shoulder
    T2b slow singles for shoulder

  13. Decided to try this Rx because my DU were going well in the warm up with a good rhythm of single single double. Started the WOD and couldn’t DU to save my life and I got frustrated, which made things worse. Finally started to get a rhythm back in the last two rounds but only managed 5 + T2B.

    I was really unhappy with the Rx score so I redid this scaled the next day. I ended up with 33 rounds and 4 reps.

    Definitely need to work on skills more.
