Hard to believe it was 14 years ago when I tried my first CrossFit workout. Do you remember what yours was? I know there’s a few people that had the Filthy 50’s as their first. Gabe’s was a 5k run (gross). No matter what it was, it left a mark on you. Something clicked, and you wanted more of it. That’s exactly what I felt 14 years ago.
We found out this year that we have the longest retention out of any micro gym in the world, and that might have something to do with our programming. We don’t program for the elite. We post workouts for everyday people who want to be better at life.
That’s why I started. And that’s why I continue doing CrossFit. And I don’t see it stopping any time soon.
