12 Days of Christmas

***Don’t forget about the Christmas Social tonight! People will start gathering around 8pm and the Yankee swap will take place around 10pm.

This is a concept borrowed from CF PEI. You perform the workout as you would sing the song β€œThe 12 Days of Christmas”: Round 1 is 1 pullup; round 2 is 2 pushups and 1 pullup; round 3 is 3 tuck jumps, 2 pushups and 1 pullup,Β etc.

Because of the space and size of class, we will run this in 2 groups.

1 – Pullup in a pear tree
2 – Pushups
3 – Tuck jumps
4 – Dips
5 – Golden squats
6 – Burpees
7 – Lunges
8 – Mountain climbers
9 – Good mornings
10 – Box jumps
11 – Situps
12 – Med ball clean and throw πŸ™‚

  13. Well, I was supposed to go with the first group but since I am french so I didn’t understand the concept of that WOD…. so I went with group 2.

    I was really nervous about working out this morning since I drank last night and I wasn’t in my greatest shape ever. But once I started, it went pretty smoothly.

    WOD –> 14:23 (with rind dips instead of dips)

    Great effort by EVERYONE…..wow!

  15. I was lookiing up, on our site, to see how my ‘younger’ brother Darren and sister in law Kelly did on 12 Days. Last weekend in Charlottetown he and Kelly did us proud bar hopping. They hopped higher then any of us from Crossfit PEI. Darrem dropped a beer on the floor and his form was great picking it up, all the time Kelly yelling ‘watch your low back curve’. Great site you guys have drop in to our box sometime. Merry Christmas to all in Moncton.

  16. well honestly today was a weird Crossfit day for me…

    WOD:
    1000m Row Time: somewhere below 4 minutes

    Forgot to time myself on the machine because I went into the wrong setting and then after I felt so sick due to the free food event I went to not 30 minutes before and had too much to eat.

    so I only partially did 2 of the 5min handstand WOD and fouled 3 times.

    All in all today was just an odd day lol. I think the finals are getting to me! someone..please save me from them! I’ll do all the burpes you want!

    …well maybe haha.
