    Normally WOD with 10lb ball for WODs with lots of WBs …just starting to use 12lb for WODs with smaller number WBs. Definitely went too light and should have used the 8lb ball even if I got sandy again:(

    1. “Too light” changes the load on the movement, but not the intensity. If its light you move faster which is a good thing.

      “Too light” should be the knew “I cant” …

    deadlifts were all 6-4, WB unbroken. deadlifts were quite heavy, then I took too long getting to the WB because I would be so scared of dropping the ball. Whenever we get the treat of 9′, it takes me a few reps to get the feel for it… today in round 1 I went airball, airball, FACEball, then 15 actual reps…

    First WOD in 12 days. Vacation hangover was obvious. That was not fun for me at all!! Surprisingly, the WB did not feel that bad (not as bad as I expected, anyway). The Dead Lifts, however, were a different story. They were so heavy. Lots of room for improvement if this one ever comes up again. I spent a lot of time looking at the bar before each set and really had to talk myself into starting. Also, the rest between DL and WB was too long. (Trying to be well rested before starting the WB’s) Oh well, I embraced the suck and and am really happy to be back at the gym.

    I find wallballs challenging so I chose a lighter balls in the hopes I could get all 15 without struggling to badly, I even no repped myself a couple times, because I didn’t make the mark.. Although I thanked Kevin, I should probably thank Joanna. How did you think up this one?
