Secret Santa

In lieu of the Yankee Swap, this year we’ll be doing a Secret Santa. Here’s how it works:

-Please show up early and gather in the warm-up room (masks on).
-You’ll select a token from the board. The token will have a number on the back, and you’ll make your way to the same numbered square in the main room.
-Every square will have a gift on it. Do not peek until the coach tells you to turn it over.
-Merry Christmas – it’s a GIRL!

    Secret Santa – I got Karen.

    100% Charlie Brown moment as I flipped it, knowing already what it was going to be…

    14# / 10 min cap = 119 reps

    Legs were already tired. Shoulders were already tired. Wrist was getting stiff. But tbh, I’m really happy I got as close as I did!

    Selected my token and my spot was ON A WALL. Was 100% sure it was Karen, not that I would usually mind but you know…yesterday. In any case, best gift ever when I flipped over my present to find Annie. Doubles in the round of 50 were elusive but got better each round.

    12 deadlifts @ BW (BW was 181.. used 185#)
    All rounds were 5-4-3
    21 box jumps @ 24″… steady unbroken
    Time: 13:29

    I couldn’t make it to class today so I did GRACE at home. I’ve done it twice before for Yankee Swap.

    12 bw deadlifts. BW=180 so did 180. Why do more if you don’t have to

    Last year did it with 205 BW so this year was much easier.
