    Glad I stayed light, it got really tough on my wrist the last 3 rounds. Hardest part was transitioning from the squat clean grip to jerk grip on my left hand.

    Failed my 4th round @ 105… dropped to 95# for remainder of WOD. Still was a very effective workout.

    Well….didn’t go very well. I could barely get through the first round at 155#….kept peeling weight off until I got to 95…
    If I do this again I think I would try it with 45% @120#
    not sure how many rounds i got

    That was my score from 2012 when I was a rockstar. So for shits & giggles I thought I would try to get that score today and although it nearly killed me, i did it. Happy. And now I need a nap.

    Tried mixed grip on my amrap round and was pleasantly surprised and somewhat panicked when my grip did not fail and I could do more than 6 reps.
    New 1rm 205

    Last time I did this with 55# and got a bit over 8 rounds.. I used the hook grip and focused on hip drive on the clean.

    6 Rounds + 7 DL…..this is the exact same score as Dec 2018. I guess I am consistent.
    The word “brutal” was mentioned in my post in 2018 and I’ll repeat it again for today….BRUTAL! Not dropping the bar is so tough.

    If memory serves….I think this WOD is a Joanna Wood creation…maybe??
