What would you name your boat?

‘Deck of Death’

Hearts = Burpees
Diamonds = Situps
Clubs = Pullups
Spades = Squats
Jokers = 400m Run/500m Row

Start by drawing the top card and do that many reps of the suit. For example, if you draw the 9 of Hearts, you’re doing 9 burpees. Face cards are all worth 10. Aces are 1. The goal is to get through the whole deck as fast as you can. There is a 25 min time cap.

    Taking up Matt’s challenge to post…

    I would name my boat “The Captain Bligh”. This is the pet name I use for Bob, given to him after a particularly difficult day of canoeing in which the crew (me), considered a mutiny!

    Clubs = Jumping Pullups from 45# plate
    Spades = Squats to a small box
    Jokers = 500m Row

    83 reps left at time cap. Both rows completed (each @ 2.5 min).

    That was fun. Thank you for class Matt – and for adding the small box to my squats. Good practice for me.

    I would name my boat “Rockies” after the Rocky Mountains in Alberta. I really miss visiting them whenever I want.

    Deck of Death – 23 reps plus 207m row left. I ended with most of those 23 reps being sit ups and burpees. Great workout! I really looked forward to what was coming up next. It made the 25 mins fly by.

    This was the first time doing this wod! Completed in 24:12.
    I did ring rows instead of pull-ups. I’m proud at everyone who did the wod today. Keep up the good work!
