Warning – incoming rant.
I was walking by a local gym last week and saw the picture below in their window. I actually did a double-take, because I didn’t believe what I saw.
Let me tell you this – the scale DOES NOT determine your happiness. There are a lot of things that do, but the number on the scale isn’t one of them.
Health, family, friends, helping others – all things that will bring happiness into your life.
At CrossFit Moncton, we will help you with your goals – eating well, getting in shape, nailing your first pullup. But we won’t encourage weight loss as a means of happiness.
*Note – there is a difference between weight loss and fat loss. I’ll save that for another post.
