Intramural Open

Alright Members, it’s almost Open time (starts Feb.24). And we are going to make sure you have an amazing time this season.

This year’s Intramural Open is going to have a few notable changes. First off, we’re going to have 3 teams this year with 3 captains per team. All of the captains will be trainers that were split up based on last year’s results and availability.

We’re still going to have an initial draft for the top competitors. After that, it will be a random draw for the rest of the membership (so no need to recruit).

We have our own event registration. Cost will be $30, that will give all participants access to the Friday Night Lights, custom event T-shirt, prizes, snacks/beverages, and the post-Open event (location to be determined).

*You are NOT required to register for the CrossFit HQ Open to participate in our Intramural Open, but you may choose to do both.

  3. So we don’t have to register for the Open if we don’t want to, just the Intramural Open? I hope I’m reading that right because I like this idea so much better!! It honestly takes the anxiety and stress off the whole thing for me.
    This will be my third Crossfit Open and I’m pretty sure I’m not going to regionals. HAHAHA!😛😂
    I would much rather hang out with you guys, do the WOD during Friday Night Lights, get a tshirt, and go to the after party for my $30.
