Note: We have a special function at the gym tomorrow from 6-9pm, so there will be no regular classes/open gyms.

First off, Row-uary was much more popular than I ever expected. When I put the sign-up lists out, I was thinking there would be 20-25 people. But 66 brave souls took the plunge. Now we know there were some that were more dedicated to the cause, but the final numbers are still impressive as heck!

From last to first, here are the final rankings for Row-uary:

Team 3 – 139,631m
Team 2 – 140,285m
Team 5 – 145,204m
Team 6 – 258,398m
Team 1 – 294,686m
And by 43 meters…
Team 4 with 294,729m!!!

I discussed with unofficial team captain of Team 4 (Elba) and we came up the penalty for all the other teams. Before Friday, you must complete 30 Burpees over Rower! She said 100, but I convinced her 30 was plenty.

By the way, the total meters for ALL teams was 1,272,933 meters!! OVER ONE MILLION METERS! That’s unbelievable!

Next month – Burp-ruary??

    Congrats to Team 4 – you guys are nuts. As for the 30 burpees, I’m so delighted that that penalty was the same for all teams and didn’t get progressively higher the worse the team finished, I’m pleased to do them!
