    I think this is the first WOD I’ve ever felt ticked off that I couldn’t finish under the time cap. And it was my own fault too. I thought we were supposed to do 150 singles in the first round, instead of 100 and was at 130 when I noticed that I was the only one still skipping. I will be redoing this in an Open Gym at some point.

    QOD: I love amusement park rides! I’ve done Canada’s Wonderland roller coasters, Busch Gardens roller coasters, Universal Studios, etc, etc. but my favourite of all time is every carnival staple, the Tilt a Whirl!! I totally love that thing. Two years ago, at the Fredericton Exhibition, we rode it 15 times in a row….and then one of the kids power puked 😛

    1. Bah, you know you can do it under cap, no big deal.

      I dare say the extra skipping you performed constitute more work than the 3 situps remaining. (Even if its like comparing apples and oranges)

      1. I know you’re right. The extra skipping was more work and had I only done 100 skips like I was supposed to, I absolutely would have finished on time. But I screwed up 😛
        I guess it’s just the principle of the thing.

    Thanks for the race Heather. Knowing you were going to go unbroken on those doubles kept me at an honest pace for the run. Next time I will have to squeeze just a little more out. 1 second… Gah! 🙂

      Any kind of flume ride: Log ride, Jurassic Park ride, Splash Mountain, etc. I love the anticipation, the long drop then getting drenched at the bottom.

    1. QOD: Alllllll the roller coasters with all the flips and big drops. Superman at Six Flags near Boston is one of my favs, slow long pull up (with amazing view of the river) to an insane drop into all the turns and loops! Woooooo!

    Annie is my favourite of all the Girls, so I admit I rolled my eyes when I saw the additional running But I have to say although I didn’t like it “more” ( TL we need to talk girl…) it did prolong the fun so I guess that’s good!?!

    QOD – I love the water rides – all of them from bumper boats to flume!

    QOD- I love all amusement park rides….especially the fast ones that suck you into your seat.
    One of my all time favorites is the top gun ride at Canada’s Wonderland.
