Every Sunday from 12:15-1pm, CrossFit Moncton is transformed into a ‘box of fun and fitness’. Well, it’s always fun and fitness, but during that time, the gym is filled with 6-12 year olds! If y0u have any little ninjas that want to be a part of the CrossFit Moncton Kids program, come on by. First time is always free!

    Thanks for asking me to do this Kevin! Didn’t know I had a PR in me this morning. At 500m I thought I was going to puke. 1000m, maybe I’ll stop. About 1600m, why is he so damn fast?! LOL. Felt like death but happy for the extra fitness push

    Had a plan to do 33 every 30 seconds. Was able to rest 10-13 sec every round. Last 4 rounds, bumped it up to 40’s. Next time – 34 reps to break 700.

      I think it’s awesome that you can actually devise a plan on how many DU’s you’re going to do, and how many rounds. Most of us (or at least me ) just skip ’til failure.

    Total: 540 (59 rep PR over a few months ago AND no dizziness!! Win!!)

    Done in sets of 30, with just a few seconds of rest between. Next time, check times for each round and aim for 29 every 30 seconds. Rest for time remaining.

    I would have moved heaven and earth to get to this one…but all I had to do was reschedule a few clients! (Please don’t tell on me.)

    Also I want to say… I love our kids program SO much. Most people know that my nephew Liam is the most important kid in my life. I don’t have any kids of my own so I’m very close to him. He has ADHD and there have been struggles to find an activity or a sport that he likes and can stick with, but he really likes CrossFit. And his mom likes that there’s no commitment to go every Sunday so they don’t have to worry if they can’t make it in for a Sunday here and there. As you can imagine, I’m beyond excited that he likes it.

    And…I rave a lot about how great Blake and Ron are as kids coaches… Absolutely incredible. They amaze me every week. πŸ™‚

    We have a great kids program! Give it a try!

    A bit shy of my goal of 300. Lots on inconsistency. Some rounds I had 30+, but lots other with only 2 or 3. More practice would help this.

      You wanted 300? Have a plan. You could have 15 reps every 30 seconds. Try it for just 3 minutes sometime to see if you could stick to it. Then you’ll know for next time.

    First time doing this and I’m ok with the score but wish I could have been getting more strung together at a time, wasn’t coming close to my pr for reps. also had to tie my shoe 3 times and eventually just kicked them off…I don’t recommend that to anyone haha.

    OHS 5RM (missed this on Monday)

    45-55-65-70-80# (PR for reps)

    tried 85# and only did 3, form fell apart.

    worked on T2B and negatives and swung around on the rings…
    and then, I did one real strict pull up…properly from a bar I had to jump up to. PR.
