    What? Yep, I did. For real. I’m as surprised as you are. I figured today would be another day of whipping myself to death until I got so frustrated that I prayed for a pair of scissors to magically appear and cut the skipping rope up into tiny pieces

    WOD:
    40 Double Unders

    *every break in pushups = 20 double unders

    DUs felt awesome today (good thing; I did a lot of them), got 38 unbroken in one of the rounds – only 12 away from my goal of 50.

    DNF – 31 of 40 DUs in third round at 18 mins cap Rx
    Bonus 3 bathroom breaks during WOD

    I need to keep doing pushups from toes in Wods, today was a good day to start. Chose to do them knowing I probably wouldn’t finish, but was happy I did them.

    Breakdown:
    Pushups – 4x9reps, 8-8-7-7reps, 3x8reps
    DUs – cut almost every set into 2 (20+20 & 10+10) to keep shoulders from fatigue

    WU & practice strict pull ups and negatives. I’m coming for that dead hang strict pull up real soon haha.

    Time: DNF…womp womp… got to 18/24 pushups.
    sounds like defeat but it really it wasn’t, today of all days was my first WOD with all DUs as Rx…and there were A LOT! Did first 36 pushups as Rx and then did the rest from one of the small boxes (still very hard).

    Terri-Lynn is was fun fighting through that one beside you!

    Note: After I did this WOD Kevin told me that I only had to double the skips for singles, I tripled them. Oops!
