    QOD: There were a few, but probably the one that had the worst effect on me was a show or a movie where there was some sort of demon or something in a sink that was reaching up and pulling people down the drain when they stood over the sink. I was terrified of the drain in the shower for years after that. πŸ™‚ It wasn’t a kids movie, I have no idea why I was watching it!

    QOD: Some scene in Home Alone… probably when the burglars were chasing Kevin and he zip lined to his tree house and he was then trying to cut the zip line with giant scissors. They got so close!

  6. QOD: “The Dark Crystal”. There were a few scenes..actually the whole movie freaked me out, the puppets. I can’t remember how old I was when I watched it. I haven’t watched the movie since πŸ™‚

  7. QOD: Not sure of the scenes, just over all freaked-out-ness…watching Jaws then waiting for a shark to jump out the tub drain (why do scary things always have to happen in the bathroom?) and Jurassic Park…’cause dinosaurs.

    From a kid’s movie: the Large Marge scene from Pee Wee’s Big Adventure! I can’t post a pic, but it scared the crap out of me as a kid.

    From an adult movie viewed as a child (and there were so many – seriously, where were my parents??): Stephen King’s Pet Sematary (ugh, Cemetery – I know it’s supposed to be a child’s influence on the name, but come on). I’m still terrified to watch that movie to this day. There’s a scene where the mom’s sister is calling her from the attic in the creepiest voice I can remember *shudder*

    QOD: I mostly watched things like Pokemon as a child…not exactly scary. But there was a show with these weird puppet things and it was called “Nanalan”-freaked me right out. Even now I can’t believe someone okayed that show. I had to google the name of the show just now and I swear I got a shiver up my spine.
