    5×1 push jerks – 5×1 wanted to go to 150 but failed at 140. Was upset but when I got home I realized I had completed my heavier rounds last time with a split … Sooo will try it again on Tuesday!

    I had done a “reset” for all my lifts when I started back at crossfit after surgery last fall, realized recently that another one was going to be needed when I dropped the braces that I think had almost become a crutch of some sort, first wod without them today. very happy with how things felt afterward as I was a bit worried doing anything that required deep squat with weight.

    My quads were on fire before I started this WOD today, so I knew very well what was in store for me! lol!

    12:15 Super stoked I finished under 15 minutes!

    That WOD kicked my butt, but I loved every minute of it!!! The last time I did heavy squat cleans was last September and I wrecked my back for 2 months. To say I was a little apprehensive today about this WOD is a tad bit of an understatement!!

    3 hours of heavy duty yard work this afternoon. I hope all of my yardwork squatting helped eliminate some of the lactic acid that built up during today’s squat cleans. Who am I kidding? lol!

    My mother in law and I had a lovely dinner in our sunroom and then we took a drive with FOUR dogs to Golgi’s for frozen yogurt! Yummy!

    An awesome day from start to finish!
