We had 31 people participate in the Victoria WOD yesterday, and we raise close to $400. Thank you to everyone who took part in the event or came to make a donation and cheer people on. Your support is greatly appreciated!

    Worked on snatch with 3 focus points:

    1. Butt low, chest up
    2. One movement, no pause
    3. Get body underneath bar

    I still have so much to work on with this movement, but hopefully it will all come together at some point!

    WOD: 2 a and 2b: Blizzard Beatdown: Was able to get to 125lbs for clean and jerk. Like to do 130 or 135 next time around.

    So many take away’s again. Thanks Kevin and Joanna for all the coaching and pointers/ tips today.

    I think I was at 10:46.
    Got to 185 clean and jerk. Got 205 to my shoulders but that was a far as it was going was out of steam.
    Liked the Wod thought I was doing pretty good till Kevin pointed out my flaws. On a good note I was doing everything the hard way so technique on everything needs work. Thanks Kevin and Jo! Great coaching as always. Also can’t wait to try this again except with better technique.
